COPPER-BASED ALLOY HAVING EXCELLENT FORGEABILITY, STRESS CORROSION CRACKING RESISTANCE AND DEZINCIFICATION CORROSION RESISTANCE

摘要

The purpose of the present invention is to provide a copper-based alloy which contains, in mass%, 61.0-63.0% of Cu, 1.3-2.0% of Pb, 1.8-2.8% of Sn, 0.05-0.25% of Sb and 0.04-0.15% of P, with the balance made up of Zn and impurities. The copper-based alloy has industrially satisfactory machinability and strength, while having excellent forgeability, stress corrosion cracking resistance and dezincification corrosion resistance.
