A permutation method for correcting a bit error in a quantum key distribution protocol is disclosed. One embodiment of the present invention provides a bitstream permutation method for correcting a bit error to permutate a sequence of a bitstream before the execution of the next error correction step in a quantum key error correction protocol, comprising a plurality of steps of an error correction procedure and, more particularly, a method for permutating a bitstream in a quantum key error correction protocol, comprising a step of changing a sequence of bits included in a modified bitstream by performing a linear modulo operation on the basis of a length of the bitstream and a length of a block in the next error correction step.
