Disclosed are a louver control and method for an outdoor unit room. The louver control system includes a room sensor measuring the temperature of an outdoor unit room of a building in which an outdoor unit of an air-conditioner is installed; a louver installed at a window of the outdoor unit room, with an opening/closing angle of the louver being adjusted by a driving unit; a blower fan configured to discharge or suck the air through the louver; and a control unit closing the louver when the temperature of the outdoor unit room is lower than a first temperature, partially opening the louver when the temperature of the outdoor unit room is not lower than the first temperature and lower than a second temperature, fully opening the louver when the temperature of the outdoor unit room is not lower than the second temperature, and operating the blower fan when the temperature of the outdoor unit room is not lower than a third temperature.
