The present invention relates to a method for spreading a bonding agent capable of forming a bonding layer for bonding a first substrate and a second substrate and forming a bonding layer comprising a straight section and a corner section. The method for spreading the bonding agent comprises a step for moving a spreading unit which spreads the bonding agent for forming bonding dots on the first substrate to form the bonding dots which are separated in a first direction in the straight section at a first speed and a step for accelerating the spreading unit at a second speed which is faster than the first speed to form bonding dots which are separated in a second distance which is longer than the first distance in the corner section when the spreading unit is entered from the straight section to the corner section. The present invention is provided to prevent hiding a display area by thinly making the thickness of the bonding layer and inputting the bonding layer inside the substrate, thereby improving the quality of images displayed by a display device.
