METHOD TO MANUFACTURE ISLAND COASTLINE USING AERIAL PHOTOGRAPH

Disclosed is a method to manufacture an island coastline using an aerial photograph. According to the present invention, the method to manufacture the island coastline using the aerial photograph includes the steps of: (a) photographing, from the air, an island having a coastline to be manufactured or obtaining a pre-taken aerial photograph and selecting photograph location points which can be distinguished from the surrounding of the island including protrusion parts of the island in the aerial photograph; (b) obtaining location data, by a GPS, on the site location points of the island corresponding to the photograph location points selected in step (a); (c) performing a declination correction work by a computer, matching the location data on the site location points obtained in step (b) with the photograph location points of the aerial photograph, and inputting the location data; and (d) digitizing, by a digitizing means, the location data of the respective location points in the aerial photograph having the location data inputted in step (c), converting values of the digitized location data to x and y coordinates, and generating the coastline. The method according to the present invention can provide the effects of generating an accurate island coastline of which the shape and location are not accurately known using an aerial photograph and the location data obtained by the GPS on a couple of location points on the site.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
