The present invention relates to an optical wave guide splitter used in an optical communication field and, more specifically, to an optical wave guide splitter capable of monitoring an optical signal by diverging from a part of light by using an asymmetric structure and manufacturing an optical wave guide tap coupler device having a specific divergence ratio. The present invention relates to a Y divergence optical wave guide tap coupler structure comprising an asymmetric taper which controls the length and the width of the taper by designing the taper connected to an input end as the asymmetric type and comprises a structure which properly controls the width of two output end wave guides. The present invention relates to an optical wave guide tap coupler of an asymmetric Y divergence structure comprising a structure which controls the power ratio between a main wave guide and a tap wave guide by connecting one input end wave guide structure and a wave guide having narrow width controlling an angle.
