The present invention relates to a Streptomyces mauvecolor strain KP2010-BU16 that generates and secretes rimocidin, which is an antibiotic having an antibacterial activity against plant-pathogenic fungi such as Colletotrichum gloeosporioides, and a novel rimocidin derivative BU16. A microorganism metabolite is easily decomposed so that side effects caused by residues in a natural environment can be minimized. The present invention also provides an environmentally-friendly germicide composition and prevents various plant-pathogenic fungi such as Colletotrichum gloeosporioides that occur due to Colletotrichum cocodes, which is a pathogenic fungus that brings about great damage and is difficult to prevent, so as to be useful for the plant disease preventing industry.
