The present invention relates to a method and a device for controlling a smart renewable system and, more particularly, to a method and a device for controlling a smart renewable system which can maximize economic profits of power generated from a renewable power source by associating the renewable power source with an energy storage device. The method for controlling a smart renewable system including a renewable power source and an energy storage device comprises the steps of (a) receiving generation prediction data of a predetermined renewable power source per hour; (b) receiving system marginal price information per hour; (c) generating common coupling point supply power prediction information per hour using the generation prediction data per hour and the system marginal price information per hour; and (d) controlling operation of the energy storage device according to the common coupling point supply power prediction information per hour. According to the method of the present invention, a common coupling point power output pattern can be optimized by establishing a common coupling point supply power plan, which can make an optimal profit, based on a renewable energy generation prediction amount and a power system marginal price provided from a power exchange and controlling the operation of the energy storage device in real time according to the plan, thereby maximizing economic efficiency of a smart renewable system.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
