Disclosed is a preparation method of magnesium hydroxide based magnesium oxysulfate using hydrothermal synthesis. The present invention comprises (a) a step of preparing 0.5-3.0 mol/L of magnesium sulfate solution; (b) a step of adding organic ethanolamine selected from monoethanolamine, diethanolamine and triethanolamine, to the magnesium sulfate solution; (c) organic hydrothermal synthesis, which is a step of heating and stirring the mixed precursor solution for reaction; and (d) a step of washing and drying the product generated in the heating and stirring step.
