Disclosed is a method for predicting a laser welding deformation in a zirconium alloy thin plate. The method for predicting a laser welding deformation in a zirconium alloy thin plate according to an embodiment of the present invention includes checking pulse welding variables including pulse output, pulse time, pulse frequency, and pulse energy to be used in laser pulse welding of the zirconium alloy thin plate; estimating the size of a melting portion of a welding portion and the size of a heat-affected zone based on the checked pulse welding variables; estimating the amount of deformation of the welding portion in a z-axis direction based on the estimated heat-affected zone; and determining a welding deformation in the zirconium alloy thin plate based on the estimated size of the melting portion, size of the heat-affected zone, and amount of deformation in the z-axis direction.
