The present invention relates to a roll blind for preventing child safety accidents, and, more specifically, to a roll blind for preventing child safety accidents, which is capable of effectively preventing the safety accidents beforehand by allowing a driving chain to be separated from a chain pulley when a certain level of weight is applied to the driving chain, wherein the driving chain used for driving the winding roller of the roller blind and wound on the chain pulley can be separated from the chain pulley when the certain level of weight is applied to the driving chain because the chain pulley has an improved structure, and the safety accidents occur when the partial bodies of children, including necks, are trapped on the driving chain. According to the present invention, the roll blind for preventing the child safety accidents comprises: a screen; the winding roller having the screen wound thereon; a bottom bar by which the bottom of the screen is held and supported; the chain pulley installed at one side of the winding roller, and driving the winding roller; and the driving chain fastened to the chain pulley, and elevating the screen, wherein the chain pulley has multiple chain holding units separated from each other at regular intervals and formed therearound.
