The present invention relates to a cushioning fibrous material made of poly(1,4-cyclohexanedimethylene terephthalate) (PCT) hollow fiber. The cushioning fibrous material made of a PCT hollow fiber having a heat-resistance, chemical stability, elasticity and bulkiness from the PCT material of the present invention has characteristic properties, and satisfies the lightness due to a hollow fiber. Also, the present invention provides a cushioning fibrous material, in which 80-60 wt% of the PCT hollow fiber with 280-290°C of the melting point are bound with 40-20 wt% of binder fibers having a lower melting point than the PCT hollow fiber, so that the cushioning fibrous material maintains the characteristic properties of the PCT material and the hollow property, and thus, is optimized to the lightness and a cushion function. As such, the cushion fibrous material of the present invention is able to provide a cushion for a vehicle having lightness and excellent cushion function, and to replace the conventional polyurethane cushion material.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
