The present invention relates to a dust reducing agent for reducing iron powder and fine dust in a sealed area, such as a subway tunnel, and more particularly, to a dust reducing agent obtained by mixing 0.2-2.0 wt% of an organic salt and inorganic salt for blocking iron (Fe) powder and metal ions or smooth bonding with fine dust, 0.2-5.0 wt% of a natural surfactant having the functions of an emulsifier and a dispersant, and 1.0-30.0 wt% of a moisture absorbent having an evaporation suppressing function and a moisture absorbing function in 100 wt% of an aqueous solution, and adding 0.5-30.0 wt% of two or more polymers selected from hydrophilic polymers and natural polysaccharide polymers having good water swelling properties and adhesiveness in the resulting mixture. The dust reducing agent is applied to coat the surface of iron powder and dust, which are scattering or are about to scatter, due to the differences in adhesion, polarity and density to prevent iron powder and fine dust from scattering only by spraying or sprinkling a diluted solution thereof in subway tunnels where a lot of iron powders and dusts are generated.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
