The present invention relates to a method for controlling reactive power of a marine wind power generator when high voltage is applied to a power system, in which, when the high voltage is applied to the power system, the reactive power of the marine wind power generator is controlled to satisfy the standard of high voltage ride through (HVRT) among international system-related standard items, thereby not only stably supplying power produced from the onshore wind power generator to the power system, but also contributing to the establishment of a system high-voltage control standard in a domestic system-related standardizing work. According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is the method for controlling the reactive power of the marine wind power generator, which includes the steps of receiving voltage and current of the system, which are related to the monitored marine wind power generator, from an inverter of a power converter; determining if the received system voltage exceeds preset system reference voltage; calculating a reactive power value by using system voltage and current received from a main controller of a main power converter if the received system voltage exceeds the preset system reference voltage according to the determination resu and comparing the calculated reactive power value with a preset reactive power reference value to provide for the main controller of the power converter a value for the control of the reactive power generated to adjust the difference between the calculated reactive power value and the reactive power reference value.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
