Disclosed are a feedback control system and method in a mini-mill process. The feedback control system in a mini-mill process, which adjusts the casting speed of a thin film according to the decrease of rolling speeds due to an operation accident of a finish rolling machine, includes: a first measuring unit measuring a strip speed or a strip sectional area for the strip rolled by the finish rolling machine; a mass flow operating unit performing the multiplication of the measured strip speed and strip sectional area to operate first mass flow of the finish rolling machine; a second measuring unit measuring the sectional area of the thin film cast by a continuous casting machine; and a controller controlling the casting speed of the thin film according to the first mass flow of the finish rolling machine and the second mass flow of the continuous casting machine containing the sectional area of the thin film, thereby preventing the reduction of the quality of rolling or productivity.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
