The present invention relates to an air conditioner using a main refrigerant cycle of an air conditioner without starting an engine, and more particularly, to an air conditioner using a main refrigerant cycle of an air conditioner without starting an engine which includes a compressor separately attached to a main refrigerant cycle of an air conditioner to use a battery of a vehicle as a power source without mounting additional items in order to control that refrigerant flows toward the compressor with a three-way valve in a state that an engine of a vehicle is turned off. The air conditioner comprises: a refrigerant cycle of an automotive air conditioner which comprises an expansion valve, an evaporator, a first compressor, and a condenser; a first branch part branched from a refrigerant flow path connected between the evaporator and the first compressor; a second compressor connected to one side of the first branch part; and a second branch part connected to the other side of the second compressor and branched from the refrigerant flow path connected between the first compressor and the condenser.
