Disclosed are a device to discharge falling stone in a pit for an electric furnace transfer vehicle in which efficiency of a falling stone removal operation is improved and a method for discharging the falling stone. The device to discharge falling stone in a pit for an electric furnace transfer vehicle of the present invention comprises a bogie frame having a container loaded on the top and on which a driving wheel is mounted at both sides of the bottom to be driven on a rail; a frame located in the pit in which the upper end is connected to the bottom of the bogie frame and the lower end is connected to the bottom of the bogie frame; and a falling stone removal unit installed on the lower end of the connection frame for removing the falling stone stacked in the pit while moving according to the movement of the bogie frame.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2014
