The present invention relates to a carbon dioxide absorbent which is an aqueous solution comprising tertiary amine dialkyl alkanolamine as a main absorbent, secondary alkanolamine as a speed enhancer and polyalkylene glycol monomethyl as a regeneration promoter. An alkanolamine based carbon dioxide absorbent comprising polyalkylene glycol monomethylether according to the present invention, a carbon dioxide absorbing method using the same and a carbon dioxide separating method using the same have excellent carbon dioxide absorption capacity, exhibit high carbon dioxide absorption rate and have a low absorbent regeneration temperature as compared to an existing alkanolamine based absorbent, thereby being able to rapidly decrease total energy consumption required in an absorption process and being able to prevent collected carbon dioxide from being polluted by moisture and absorbent vapor due to a low regeneration temperature.
