Provided is a method for acquiring and displaying images. In the method for acquiring and displaying images, a rotatable vision tube around a central axis in parallel with an internal optical path is arranged to pass through a wall to face the area to be monitored, wherein an optical axis of an object lens provided in a front end of the vision tube is inclined at a predetermined angle regarding the optical path. Subsequently, a real-time monitoring image is acquired while changing the photographing direction by rotating the vision tube.
