In the present invention, disclosed are a system for recovering a route in a wireless Ad-Hoc network and a method thereof. The system for recovering the route according to the present invention includes: a communication terminal which is located on a route to transmit a data packet, checks the possibility of a data transmission to the following hop to transmit an alternative node request message according to the checked result, and recovers the route based on a received RREP message if the RREP message is received in response to the alternative node request message; and a plurality of peripheral communication terminals which transmits the RREP message based on the received alternative node request message and routing table thereof if the alternative node request message is received.
