Provided are an apparatus for guiding safety driving of a vehicle on a road and a safety driving guiding method thereof. The apparatus includes: a first detection unit for detecting information about a current preceding vehicle entering at least one of a crossroad, a curved road, and a ramp, when a cruise control device is in an operation mode; a control unit receiving the information about the current preceding vehicle detected by the first detection unit, and having a first preset reference detection range and a first reference road-based deceleration range; a first determination unit for determining whether the detection range of the information about the current preceding vehicle detected by the first detection unit is within the first reference detection range in a state in which the preceding vehicle is currently synchronized with a turn indicator signal of a vehicle; and a first driving unit for operating the cruise control device so that the control unit decelerates the vehicle in line with the first reference road-based deceleration range when the vehicle is steered, if the first determination unit determines that the detection range of the information about the current preceding vehicle is deviated from the first reference detection range.
