Disclosed are a method and a system to provide an online-based psychological test service. The method, for providing a psychological test service which is performed in primary and secondary psychological test terminals used by the same examinee and in a psychological test server which is connected through a communications network, includes the following steps of: transmitting primary psychological test information including primary psychological test item information to the primary psychological test terminal, and receiving and storing primary psychological test answer information about the primary psychological test item from the primary psychological test terminal; transmitting secondary psychological test information including secondary psychological test item information related to the primary psychological test item to the secondary psychological test terminal, and receiving secondary psychological test answer information about the secondary psychological test item from the secondary psychological test terminal; and generating answer correspondence information in reference to the primary psychological test answer information and the secondary psychological test answer information. The present invention is able to provide the psychological test service providing method and the server therefor capable of obtaining reliability for an online-based psychological test.
