MOBILE FORENSICS METHOD BASED ON LOCATION INFORMATION INCLUDED IN LOG INFORMATION

The present invention relates to a mobile forensics method based on location information included in log information and, more particularly, a mobile forensics method based on location information included in log information. The mobile forensics method based on location information included in log information comprises the steps of: (1) allowing a mobile forensics apparatus for extracting data from a mobile device and analyzing the extracted data to collect log information including visual information and coordinate information from the mobile device; (2) allowing the mobile forensics apparatus to analyze the collected log information to extract the location of a user; and (3) allowing the mobile forensics apparatus to simulate the extracted location of the user and to visualize and output results of the simulation. The mobile forensics method based on location information included in log information proposed in the present invention collects log information including visual information and coordinate information from a mobile device, extracts the location of a user, simulates the extracted location of the user, and visualizes and outputs results of the simulation, thereby easily identifying when the user conducts any behavior by collecting log information even when data itself is deleted, and intuitively investigating the user moving path or the like which cannot be identified when specific coordinates is seen in text.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2015
