The present invention provides polysilsesquioxane with an ionic functional group represented by chemical formula 1. In chemical formula 1, R_1, R_2 and R_3 are selected respectively and independently from the group consisting of quaternary amine, which is an ionic functional group, aliphatic amine and organic functional groups, and at least one among R_1, R_2 and R_3 is an ionic functional group and n is an integer of 1 to 10,000. The polysilsesquioxane with a functionalized ionic functional group and a high molecular weight according to the present invention can be used in various fields owing to properties such as high ionic conductivity, excellent heat resistance, coatability and processability.
