PREPARATIOM METHOD FOR NYLON TPE POSSESSING GOOD MECHANICAL, ELASTOMERIC PROPERTIES AND SHAPE MEMORY EFFECT

A nylon-based thermoplastic elastic body comprises 10-40 wt% of a nylon resin and 60-90 wt% of ethylene-vinyl acetate, wherein the nylon resin comprises a nylon resin obtained by polymerizing lactams having 4-12 carbon atoms or amino acid monomers having 4-12 carbon atoms; or a nylon resin obtained by melt polymerizing diamine having 4-12 carbon atoms and dicarboxylic acid having 4-12 carbon atoms, wherein an ethylene-based copolymer has a vinyl acetate content of 20-40 wt%. According to another form of the present invention, a manufacturing method of the nylon-based thermoplastic elastic body comprises the steps of (A) performing the ring opening polymerization of lactams having 4-12 carbon atoms or condensation polymerizing amino acids having 4-12 carbon atoms or diamine having 4-12 carbon atoms and dicarboxylic acid having 4-12 carbon atoms to obtain a nylon resin; and (B) melt blending 10-40 wt% of the nylon resin obtained in step (A) and 60-90 wt% of an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer at 200-260C by using a biaxial extruder. According to the present invention, the present invention has an effect of easily manufacturing the nylon-based thermoplastic elastic body by melt blending the nylon resin and a polyolefin elastomer. Furthermore, the nylon-based thermoplastic elastic body allows a continuous manufacturing process, thereby having an economical effect. In addition, the nylon-based thermoplastic elastic body has excellent rubber elasticity and mechanical properties and simultaneously has an effect of exhibiting shape memory properties.
