The present invention relates to microfineness polypropylene spunbond nonwoven fabric and a method for manufacturing same. According to the method of the present invention, a polypropylene resin is used; a cooling process in a stretching zone is performed in an upper part and a lower part; air temperature of an upper chamber is set to be higher than that of a lower chamber to prevent the polypropylene resin from being suddenly quenched; the polypropylene resin is stretched by the weight of the polymer; the speed of air in a lower chamber zone is increased to increase the degree of crystallization through a second cooling process and to increase the stretching speed; and the microfineness polypropylene spunbond nonwoven fabric is manufactured to have 1.5 deniers or less. According to the present invention, the nonwoven fabric, which has excellent texture, an increased density of inner air, and increased fiber strength, can be manufactured.
