The present invention relates to a polymer repair mortar composition reducing crazing using sponge and a repair method using the same, and more particularly, to a polymer repair mortar composition for repairing concrete cross-sections wherein a part of sand used in existing polymer repair mortar compositions is replaced with sponge, and a repair method using the same. The polymer repair mortar composition according to the present invention is characterized by comprising 35-40 wt% of type I cement, 43-52 wt% of silica, 5-10 wt% of sponge, 2-4 wt% of expansive cement, 3 wt% of a polymer, 0.2 wt% of an adhesive agent, 0.1 wt% of fiber. The polymer repair mortar composition and the repair method using the same according to the present invention not only have excellent physical properties equal to the existing mortar compositions but also prevent crazing (small cracks) which occurs before and after curing mortar from occurring, and have effects of preventing environmental pollution caused by waste resource recycling as well as reducing costs.
