The present invention relates to a customized service system through situation recognition-based user emotion recognition which includes a sensing unit, a context preprocessing unit, a situation recognition unit, an emotion recognition unit, and a service recommendation unit. The sensing unit collects user information. The context preprocessing unit converts the collected context into a form appropriate for being used in the situation recognition unit and in the emotion recognition unit. The situation recognition unit infers the current situation of a user from the collected context and the preprocessed context. The emotion recognition unit infers the emotion by pattern-matching the emotion pattern context preprocessed by an emotion context preprocessing module. The service recommendation unit provides a customized service depending on the inferred situation and emotion of the user.
