PURPOSE: A reduced gas manufacturing method is provided to exploit substances caused by an iron manufacturing process so that the cost of treating carbon dioxide is reduced and carbon monoxide which is reduced gas and hydrogen is easily produced for being used in an iron manufacturing process and chemical industries. CONSTITUTION: A reduced gas manufacturing method comprises the following steps. Coke oven gas without tar and H2S and by-product gas are mixed. By a reverse water gas shift reaction which is expressed in CO2 + H2 CO + H2O, CO2 and H2 are made into CO and H2O, respectively. By a methane reform reaction which is expressed in CH4 + H2O CO + 3H2, CH4 and H2O are made into CO and H2, respectively.
