The present invention relates to a traffic and logistics automation system using grids of moving routes which divides roads into cells with unique coordinates and makes grids for the cells to accurately interpret traffic flow; and a method thereof. The system includes: an integrated control unit which manages the passing of vehicles overall based on the data obtained from a vehicle data processing system and a road data processing system; the vehicle data processing system which is installed in a vehicle, calculates the acceleration value necessary for the vehicle and the steering angle to stay within a lane, and obtains autonomous driving data necessary for autonomous driving using distance data between cells having unique coordinates of the vehicle and the road; and the road data processing system which is installed on the road with grids obtained by dividing the road into cells having unique coordinates, communicates with the vehicle data processing system, and provides the distance data between cells having unique coordinates of the vehicle.
