A system and method are disclosed for high-speed stabilizes the output buffer. Receiving a differential driver circuit is a differential input signal, on the basis of the input signal and a differential amplifier stage for generating an output. Typically has a corresponding differential output common mode (CM) voltage level that is based on a half of the power supply. Common mode feedback buffer (CMFB) stage detects a change in the voltage level at the CM and allowed to recover to its desired value within a very fast settling time that is based on a very high bus frequency, the CM voltage level. CMFB stage is used in a topology that only includes a single device. In one embodiment, a single such device is nmos transistor is used as transimpedance stage. Stabilization is provided by the circuit biasing stage and shunt capacitor in the CMFB stage.
