The present invention relates to a device of preheating and storing mud for closing a taphole of a furnace. More specifically, the device of preheating mud for closing a taphole of a furnace comprises: a predetermined shaped housing having an internal space with a predetermined volume and an exhaust port formed in the lateral side to exhaust gas; one or more mud drawers drawn into or out from one lateral side of the housing to store mud; a heating part arranged in the lower part of the housing to heat air or the gas at predetermined temperatures; a blower connected to the heating part to introduce the air or the gas heated by the heating part into the housing; and a control part for controlling the heating part or the blower to control the internal temperature of the housing.
