According to the present invention, a heat removal system of a nuclear reactor cools a reactor core (200) heated by a nuclear reaction using a hybrid control rod which is inserted into the reactor core (200) and controls the nuclear reaction by absorbing a neutron. The present invention provides the heat removal system using the hybrid control rod. The heat removal system comprises a cooling chamber (300) which has an internal space for storing cooling water (310) in the inner side, an inlet (301) where cooling water (310) flows in, and an outlet (302) for discharging the cooling water (310), wherein one side of a hybrid control rod (100) is inserted into the center thereof; and an auxiliary cooling system (320) which has a collecting port (321). The collecting port (321) stores a certain amount of the cooling water (310) and supplies the cooling water (310) stored in the cooling chamber (300) by being connected to the inlet (301) through a cooling water supply line (330). The collecting port (321) collects the heated cooling water (310) by being connected to the outlet (302) through a cooling water collecting line (340).
