The present invention relates to manufacturing method for nickel oxide used in an anode for a solid oxide fuel cell and, more specifically, to a technology for manufacturing nickel oxide (Ni1-xMxO) doped with metal ions by using a solvothermal process. The present invention provides the manufacturing method for metal-doped nickel oxide powders using the solvothermal process comprising: a step (A) of adding a metal ion source selected from the group consisting of a nickel nitrate hydrate and a hydrate of Al(NO_3)_3, Co(NO_3)_3 and Fe(NO_3)_3 in an ethanol solvent and mixing the ingredients; a step (B) of putting the solution in which mixing is completed in an autoclave and makes the ingredients react at 210-250C for 20-30 hours; a step (C) of drying the ingredients in a drying oven after washing the ingredients with ethanol and distilled water; and a step (D) of calcining the ingredients at 800-1200C.
