Disclosed are a sound processing apparatus and method for a binaural hearing aid. The sound processing method for the binaural hearing aid includes the steps of: collecting peripheral sounds by the binaural hearing aid; detecting the direction of a noise from a collected sound signal by the binaural hearing aid using a plurality of microphone arrays; generating a first sound signal which is formed by selectively modulating a sound in a specific direction by a hearing aid of the binaural hearing aid which is closest to the direction of the noise by comparing the detected direction of the noise; generating a second sound signal which is omni-directionally processed by a hearing aid which is distant from the direction of the noise; and transmitting the first sound signal and the second sound signal to the ears of the user, respectively.
