The present invention relates to a method for constructing a reverse catenary arch rib on an arch bridge using concrete. The arch rib has a cross section that a melan member is integrated in concrete. The construction method minimizes the installation of temporary facilities, such as timbering for placing arch-shaped concrete, by integrating a concrete mold with the melan member on the ground to surround the bottom and side surfaces of the melan member and rotating and salvaging the concrete mold by stages, improves the stability of a work by minimizing a work at a high altitude, and reduces construction time and costs.
