The present invention relates to a driving device for a heavy water reactor portable detector (TFD) and, more specifically, to a driving device for a heavy water reactor portable detector which puts in and out the TFD detector to use for the neutron flux measurement of a vertical flux detector assembly (VFDA) of 26 and designs and manufactures a shielding container for reducing the exposure of an operator due to activation of a portable detector. The driving device for a heavy water reactor portable detector includes a guide pipe which is designed and manufactured in the light of an installation position by the VFDA so that the detector smoothly moves to an internal TFD well of the VFDA when the detector is put in and out. The driving device for a heavy water reactor portable detector obtains a current signal generated in the detector which is put in a core as data.
