Mobile terminal capable of determining the location of the terminal using linear regression model and method thereof

A real-time position detecting technique using the linear regression technique of a mobile terminal, which composes a sensor network, is disclosed. A real-time position detection method executed by the mobile terminal comprises a step for receiving distance data measured between a mobile node and a fixed anchor node; a step for linearly returning the received data; and a step for determining the position of the mobile node by using the regression distance data according to the one-dimensional linear regression. Therefore, the accurate position detection of the mobile node is available.
