PURPOSE: A nickel based alloy having a diffusion barrier nickel layer and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a high temperature stability and a high temperature characteristic by suppressing a vulnerable secondary reaction zone (SRZ) generated inside a super resisting alloy surface. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing a nickel based alloy having a diffusion barrier nickel layer comprises the following steps: a nickel based super alloy (10, 20) comprised of a mono-crystal is prepared for; the nickel based alloy is solution-processed; a diffusion barrier nickel layer (22) is formed on a surface of the solution-processed nickel based alloy; a thermal barrier coating layer (24) is formed on the nickel based alloy in which the diffusion barrier nickel layer is formed; and an aging treatment is performed in the thermal barrier coated nickel based alloy.
