PURPOSE: A minimum cost vector acquiring method and apparatus thereof are provided to supply a query processing method which is useful for decision making by supplying an efficient method in order to include an object in a skyline. CONSTITUTION: A vector value calculator(711) calculates a vector value in multidimensional space. A query point and a moving point are determined as both ends of a vector. A minimum vector value processor(712) selects a minimum value which is included in a skyline. The minimum vector selects a vector in which the distance with the query point is minimum.
