PURPOSE: A pulse laser formation apparatus using a Q-switching and mode-locking is provided to easily control an interval between peaks of a pulse layer which is Q-switched and mode-locked by controlling the switching operation of a variable light modulator based on the frequency of a control signal. CONSTITUTION: An optical resonator (100) includes an output unit (130) outputting pulse laser and an optical fiber (110). A pump light supply port (200) supplies pump light to the optical resonator, and includes a pump light generating unit (210) and an input coupler (230) which optically connects the pump light generating unit to the optical resonator. A laser medium unit (300) amplifies laser light on the optical resonator by generating a density reversible phenomenon from the pump light.
