The present invention relates to a production method of gamma-decalactone and gamma-butyrolactone and a composition thereof and, more specifically, to a method producing gamma-decalactone and gamma-butyrolactone in high yield from 12-hydroxystearic acid and 10-hydroxydecanoic acid by increasing the productivity of gamma-lactones through inducing the activity of intracellular beta-oxidation of yeast Waltomyves lipofer; and a composition thereof.
