PURPOSE: A method for fabricating lyocell staple fiber is provided to ensure low degree of orientation, fibrillation degree, and high elongation. CONSTITUTION: A method for fabricating lyocell staple fiber comprises: a step of discharging a dope for spinning from a spinneret; a step of passing the dope through a precipitation bath to solidify into a filament; a step of washing and drying the filament; a step of adding crimp to the dried filament; and a step of cutting the filament. The dope contains 6-16 wt% of cotton inter pulp and 84-94 wt% of N-methyl morpholine-N-oxide solution.
