An information service method for providing a dynamic IE and a method for updating the dynamic IE are provided to maintain reliability of the dynamic IE by requesting the update of a corresponding IE through the inspection for validity information and receiving a response to the request. A method for providing an information service comprises the following steps of: transmitting a request message for a predetermined IE(Information Element, S101); and receiving a response message to the request message. The information element includes information about the type and validity information of the dynamic information element in case the information element is the dynamic information element.
