PURPOSE: A method of synthesizing a hollow carbon structure and silica structure is provided to ensure a simpler manufacturing process and efficient manufacturing cost. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a hollow carbon structure comprises steps of: manufacturing a spherical silica/carbon complex including bis3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl tetrasulfide(TESPTS) or bis3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl disulfide(TESPDS) and octadecyl trimethoxysilane(C_18TMS); firing the spherical silica/carbon complex under nitrogen; and selectively removing silica particles with etchant liquid after firing. A manufacturing method of a hollow silica structure comprises steps of: manufacturing a spherical silica/carbon complex including TESPTS or TESPDSand cetyltrimethylammonium bromide(CTAB); and firing the spherical silica/carbon complex under air.
