The present invention relates to a glaze composition for ceramics comprising ashes from fowl excrement and comprises ashes from fowl excrement by removing lye from ashes obtained by plasticizing fowl excrement; and conventional ingredients for glaze. A preparation method of a glaze composition for ceramics comprising ashes from fowl excrement according to another aspect of the present invention comprises a plasticizing step of plasticizing fowl excrement and obtaining ashes; a washing step of removing lye from the ashes; and a glaze preparing step of preparing glaze by mixing the ashes from fowl excrement without the lye and conventional ingredients for the glaze. The present invention has an effect for preparing matt glaze with less gloss and soft features by preparing the glaze using ashes from fowl excrement containing plenty of P2O5 and MgO; and, further, an effect for recycling resources and reducing livestock waste by preparing glaze using ashes from fowl excrement remaining after being used as fuel for boilers.
