PURPOSE: An earthquake-proof reinforcement structure for ductile fracture and an earthquake-proof reinforcement using the same are provided to ensure time for people to escape and to delay a building collapse. CONSTITUTION: An earthquake-proof reinforcement structure for ductile fracture comprises a horizontal member(10), a vertical member(20), and ductile members(30,31). The horizontal member is parallel to a lower or upper floor beam(90). The vertical member is parallel to a left or right column and is perpendicularly connected to one end of the horizontal member. The ductile member connects the vertical member and the upper floor beam. The ductile member induces the ductile fracture of a column(80) when being applied with a shear force due to an earthquake.
