Disclosed is a method for manufacturing an outer trim for an operation panel. The method for manufacturing the outer trim for the operation panel includes the steps of: (a) forming a transverse part which is combined with the upper and lower sides of a cover unit of the operation panel through die casting; (b) forming a vertical part which is combined with the left and right sides of the cover unit through extrusion; and (c) combining the transverse part with the vertical part. The (b) step is performed before the (a) step, at the same time, or after the (a) step.
