The present invention relates to a system and a method for monitoring a condition of nuclear power plant equipment to prevent a shadow effect and, more particularly, to a system for monitoring a condition of nuclear power plant equipment to prevent a shadow effect which comprises a data research unit (100) which collects and stores condition measurement process information for measuring a condition of equipment installed in a nuclear power plant and matching information of the equipment and a condition measurement process; a classification unit (200) which analyzes the information stored in the data research unit (100) and classifies the analyzed information into performance monitoring equipment and the condition measurement process; a history management unit (300) which collects maintenance history information, test history information, and variable monitoring history information of the performance monitoring equipment classified by the classification unit (200) from an external system (600) and stores the collected information; a generation unit (400) which collects function test failure information and variable limit excess history information of the equipment using the information stored in the history management unit (300), classifies a functional test failure number or a limit value as a reference, and generates a final condition management reference value of the equipment; and an analysis unit (500) which determines performance of the equipment by checking a monitoring measurement value according to the maintenance history information, the test history information, and the variable monitoring history information stored in the history management unit (300) and comparing the checked monitoring measurement value with the final condition management reference value generated by the generation unit (400). The system and the method of the present invention have an effect of preventing a shadow effect due to a test of a system level by performing a performance test for the equipment installed in the nuclear power plant to determine whether the performance of the equipment is deteriorated.
