The present invention comprises: a carrier unit used to insert and discharge an identification card; a camera for photographing the identification card; a first pushing unit which slides up one side of the identification card to invert the identification card; and a second pushing unit which slides an edge of the other side of the identification card to one direction when the first pushing unit slides up the one side to invert the identification card. The present invention provides a method for taking picture of both sides of the identification card by, after the camera takes a picture of opposite side of the inserted identification card, sliding the edge to one direction when the first pushing unit slides up one side to invert the identification card to take picture of the other side.
